There may be rain in half of the country today.Storms are expected in about half of the country today. The river ports in those areas have been asked to display the number one warning signal.
The Meteorological Department said in a forecast for the country’s inland river port from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday (October 05).
The forecast said that Rangpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Madaripur, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet region from south or south-east. Temperate gusts or gusts of wind with rain or thunderstorms at speeds of 45 to 60 kmph can occur. River ports in these areas have been asked to display the number one warning signal.
The forecast for Dhaka and adjoining areas from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm said that the sky may be partly cloudy. There may be light rain. The wind can blow from the south or southeast at a speed of 10 to 15 kilometers per hour. Daytime temperatures may remain almost unchanged.
