Rain forecast in 20 regions of the country.The Meteorological Department has forecast storms in 20 parts of the country today. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
This information was given in the forecast of the inland river port of the country from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, September 21.
The forecast said Rajshahi, Rangpur, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Sylhet, Dhaka, Faridpur, Madaripur, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet over the south or south-east. Temperate gusts or gusts of wind with rain or thunderstorms at speeds of up to 45 to 60 kmph may occur.
River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
Meanwhile, the forecast for Dhaka and its adjoining areas from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm today said that the sky may be partly cloudy to temporarily cloudy. There may be light rain or thundershowers. Winds of 10 to 15 kmph can blow from the south or southeast. Daytime temperatures may decrease slightly.
