There is rain may occur in 12 regions of the country today.The Meteorological Department has forecast storms in 12 parts of the country today. The river ports in those areas have been asked to display the number one warning signal.
This information has been given in the forecast of the inland river port of the country from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday (August 11).
According to the forecast, Rangpur, Bogra, Faridpur, Madaripur, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattagram, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet areas will be temporarily lashed with rain or thunderstorms at 45 to 60 kmph from south or south-east. The wind can blow. River ports in these areas have been asked to display the number one warning signal.
Besides, the forecast for Dhaka and adjoining areas from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm said that the sky may be partly cloudy to temporarily cloudy. There may be light to moderate rain or thundershowers. The wind can blow from the south or south-east at a speed of 10 to 15 kmph. Daytime temperatures may remain almost unchanged.
