There may be thunderstorms in seven parts of the country today. The river ports in those areas have been asked to display the number one warning signal.
The Meteorological Department has given this information in the forecast of the inland river port of the country from 5 am to 1 pm on Wednesday, November 4.
According to the forecast, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar areas will be temporarily lashed by winds or thundershowers with a speed of 45 to 60 kmph from the south or south-east. River ports in these areas have been asked to display the number one warning signal.
The forecast for Dhaka and adjoining areas from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. said the sky may be temporarily partly cloudy. The weather can be mainly dry. Daytime temperatures may remain almost unchanged.
The minimum temperature recorded in Dhaka today was 23.80 degrees Celsius.
