Recruiting 14 Doctors And 11 Nurses For Corona Treatment In Chandpur

Recruiting 14 doctors and 11 nurses for corona treatment in Chandpur.The Ministry of Health has appointed 14 doctors (assistant surgeons) and 11 nurses simultaneously in Chandpur for corona treatment. All of them will be on duty at Chandpur Government General (Sadar) Hospital. The doctors are all joining the Chandpur Civil Surgeon’s Office on Tuesday.

They are scheduled to start work at Chandpur Government General (Sadar) Hospital next Monday. The nurses are scheduled to join today, Wednesday. They will be given special brief training next Saturday-Sunday. This is the first posting of medical personnel in Chandpur Sadar Hospital and Health Department after corona disease. The concerned people are hoping that this will give a new impetus to the treatment of corona.

According to the Civil Surgeon’s Office, out of the 2,000 doctors and more than 5,000 nurses the government has recently recruited on an emergency basis, 14 doctors and 11 nurses have been posted for Chandpur district.

The newly appointed doctors and nurses will all be on duty at Chandpur Sadar Hospital. According to the routine distributed by the hospital authorities, these doctors will mainly treat people with corona / corona symptoms. Apart from this, they will also provide medical services to other patients.

Civil Surgeon Dr. Sakhawat Ullah said on Tuesday night that the newly recruited doctors and nurses would be given brief training next Saturday. On Sunday or Monday they will start giving medical services. He said that special accommodation is being arranged for the accommodation and food of these doctors. They will mainly be engaged in corona treatment. Besides, he will also provide medical services to other patients. However, women doctors who have small children will be excluded from corona treatment.The Civil Surgeon further said that with so many doctors and nurses being posted at the same time, it would be much easier to provide medical services at the Chandpur Government General Hospital, especially in the isolation ward for corona. Excessive duty burden on physicians currently working will be reduced. Most of the doctors and nurses posted in Chandpur live in Chandpur. The civil surgeon also said that the rest of the people are in Cumilla.

The government recently appointed 2,000 doctors as assistant surgeons in the BCS (health) cadre out of 8,107 candidates who passed the 39th (special) BCS for corona treatment but were not recommended for cadre posts due to shortage of posts.
