608 Expatriate Were ordered To Remain In Quarantine At Home

At Chandpur, 608 expatriate were ordered to remain in quarantine at home.Chandpur district administration has ordered four persons who returned to Chandpur from abroad to stay in quarantine for warning of coronavirus. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Chandpur, Mohammad Abdullah Al Mahmud Zaman confirmed the quarantine information contained in the quarantine order.

According to district administration sources, since February 25, 608 people have returned to Chandpur from different countries. Each of them has been instructed to be on quarantine in his own home as a precautionary measure against coronavirus.

Chandpur Civil Surgeon’s Office has released a list of 480 persons returning from overseas to Chandpur. Most of them come from Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Italy.

Many come from Libya, Spain, Singapore, Malaysia and the United States. More names will be added to the list, sources at the Office of Civil Surgeons said. The names are being collected from the upazila stage.
