Abu Yusuf, son of Nurul Islam of Kachua Majhigachha village in Chandpur, was killed in a road accident in Saudi Arabia. He was hit by a covered van in the city of Taif on Thursday, May 27 at night.
His body is currently being kept in a freezer in the city of Taif. Family and relatives are mourning the death of their son.
Yusuf’s brother Alamin said, Abu Yusuf is the youngest of 5 siblings. Abu Yusuf immigrated to Saudi Arabia 3 years ago.
Yusuf’s family has sought the cooperation of the Bangladesh government including the Saudi embassy to bring his body back to the country.
Kachua Majhigachha UP Chairman Ishaq Sikder said that the death of Abu Yusuf in a tragic road accident in Saudi Arabia is very sad. We will do our best to bring Yusuf’s body back to the country.
