Sample Of Hygiene Into Dhaka-Bound People’s At Chandpur Launch Dock!A huge crowd of passengers has been noticed at the Chandpur launch dock after Eid. The launch is leaving Chandpur Ghat with thousands of passengers despite the health situation.
Under the pressure of Dhaka-bound working people, all kinds of health rules to deal with Covid-19 have been broken. There was no obligation to follow any kind of hygiene at Chandpur launch dock.
A total of Tk 25,000 has been fined on two launches including MV Ruff Ruff-2 and MV Russell for carrying extra passengers.
At the same time, a mobile court has fined 15 launch-passengers each Tk. 300 and worth Tk. 4,500 for not wearing face masks. The fine was paid by a mobile court at the launch dock on Saturday afternoon.
Meanwhile, despite the mobile court raid on the launch dock, the launch authorities were seen leaving the launch terminal with passengers recklessly from Sunday morning till noon. Thousands of passengers gathered at the launch ground at the same time from morning.
MV Ruff Ruff-2 and Abe Jam Jam launches were seen leaving with extra passengers. Aware citizens think that this will make the situation worse in Corona.
