Arrested 1 in Shahrasti for day laborer murder case.Police have arrested a youth named Zakir Hossain (35). He was arrested from Cheriara area of Sukhipara Northern Union in the upazila at around 8 pm on Tuesday night.
According to police , on December 31, 2019 a young man named Rafiqul Islam killed.
The locals were detained when they saw Md Zakir Hossain, an accused in the case involved in the incident .
Later, they informed the police about the detention.Then the investigating officer of the case, Assistant-Inspector of Police Station (ASI) Md. Abdul Awal arrested him from the Cheriara area at 8 pm and brought him to the police station. The arrested Zakir Hossain is, the son of Abdul Majid Patwary of that village.
According to the incident, on December 31, a young man named Rafiqul Islam (43) was beaten to death .On that day of the incident, a youth named Rashed Ahmed Prakash Kalu (45) was arrested and is currently in jail.
