The Meteorological Department has forecast storms in 17 parts of the country today.The river ports in these areas have been asked to display the number one warning signal.
This information has been given in the forecast of the inland river port of the country from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm on Sunday (September 27).
According to the forecast, Rangpur, Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Bogra, Mymensingh, Tangail, Dhaka, Sylhet, Faridpur, Madaripur, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar areas from 45 hours per hour from south or south-east. Temporary gusts or gusts of wind with rain or thunderstorms at speeds of up to 60 kmph may occur. River ports in these areas have been asked to display the number one warning signal.
Meanwhile, the forecast for Dhaka and its adjoining areas from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm said that the sky may be partly cloudy to temporarily cloudy. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain or thunderstorms. The wind can blow from the south or south-east at a speed of 8 to 15 kmph. Daytime temperatures may remain unchanged.
