Storm-rain forecast in 15 regions of the country.The Meteorological Department has forecast storms in 15 parts of the country today. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
This information has been given in the forecast of the inland river port of the country from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 29.
According to the forecast, Rangpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Khulna, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet areas will receive 45 to 60 km per hour from south or south-east. Or there may be temporary gusts or gusts of wind with thunderstorms. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
Besides, the weather forecast for Dhaka and adjoining areas from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm said that the sky may be temporarily partly cloudy.
There may be light to moderate rain or thundershowers. The wind can blow from the south or southeast at a speed of 8 to 15 kilometers per hour. Daytime temperatures may drop slightly. Dhaka has received 42 mm of rain in the last 24 hours.
