Storms may occur in 18 parts of the country.The monsoon is active in the country. As a result, it is raining in different parts of the country. Today there may be storms in 16 parts of the country. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
The Meteorological Department said this in its forecast for the country’s inland river port from morning to 6 pm on Tuesday (October 06).
According to the forecast, Rangpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet areas will be covered from south / south-east. Temperate gusts or gusty winds with rain or thunderstorms at speeds of 45 to 60 kmph. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
The forecast for Dhaka and adjoining areas from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm said that the sky may be partly cloudy temporarily. There may be light rain or thundershowers.
It can move from south / south-east at a speed of 10 to 15 kmph. Daytime temperatures may remain almost unchanged.
