A teenage girl commits suicide in Haimchar.In Chandpur, a teenage girl committed suicide by poisoning herself.
The incident took place at her home in Charbhanga village of Algi Dakshin Union No. 3 of the upazila on Sunday night.The teenager is Salma Akhter (15), daughter of Khwaja Ahmed Gazi of Charbhanga village. The girl was a 10th grade class student of Charbhanga High School.
According to family sources, Salma had an argument with her mother on Sunday evening.
Khwaja Ahmed Ghazi slapped his daughter for being rude.
The family members first took her to Haimchar Health Complex. She was sent to Chandpur Sadar Hospital. She was rushed to Chadpur Sadar Hospital where doctors declared her dead.
She has been sent to the morgue for postmortem from Chandpur Sadar Hospital.
Haimchar police officer in charge Mahbubur Rahman Mollah said, we have received the news of the suicide of a teenager on Sunday night. We have learned that the girl committed suicide. The girl’s body was sent to the morgue through Chandpur Model Police Station.
