One such favorite to student is named Ruma Madam. Even though students call her Madam, she gets the same kind of praise from her students. She also receives various gifts. Their beloved Ruma Madam is acting as the Executive Officer (UNO) of Sunamganj Sadar Upazila. She bought various gifts for students from the salary.

The search revealed that Yasmin Nahar Ruma, an executive officer of Sunamganj Sadar Upazila, has been doing exceptional work to encourage the education of children of Haorachal and spread the light of education everywhere. He offers a variety of gifts for the children to focus on in school and in education. School bags, schooldresses, ledge pencils, umbrellas, color pencils, diaries, toothbrushes, nail cutters and chocolates were handed over to the primary school students of Sadar Upazila every month for their wages.

In continuation of this, Yasmin Nahar Ruma took gift items for the students of the old Lakshmanashri Gushgram Government Primary School of Lakshman Shree Union, Sadar Upazila on Thursday January 23. He handed over school bags, booklets, pencils, color pencils, diaries, toothbrushes, nail cutters and chocolates to the students of the school. The students themselves were delighted to receive these gifts from UNO. Besides, thanks to the dear Ruma Madam, they said they would study attentively.

Local sources say most of the students in Havernacht are poor in English. Many students fail English. After confirming this by visiting various schools, UNO Yasmin Nahar Ruma launched the English Language Club for elementary and secondary school students. It teaches English for free without any money. It is operated under the supervision of UNO. The English Language Club is helping the primary and secondary students overcome the fear of English.

Ataur Rahman Talukder, Head Teacher of Laxman Shri Gulshanam Government Primary School, said that the initiatives taken by UNO Ruma to focus the students on their studies is truly praiseworthy. Such a magnificent venture I have not seen before. If everyone comes forward like the UNO Room to focus on student learning, then the students of the neglected schools in Sunamganj will do well. At the same time, the rate of education in Sunamganj will increase.

Asked about such an extraordinary initiative, Yasmin Nahar Ruma said, “Since coming to Sunamganj, I had planned to develop the education sector.” I want the students of Haor area to concentrate on their studies. The rate of education is increasing. Because studying is not an option. When I came to Sunamganj, I saw firsthand that the students are afraid of English. Many people fail about English. For this reason, I started with my initiative the English Language Club for primary and secondary school students. It teaches English at no cost to students. It is open to everyone. Every Friday, elementary and secondary students are taught English. He was also taught to speak English.

UNO Ruma said, “My first task is to ensure 100% attendance of students in neglected schools in Sunamganj.” Because hundreds of students in schools are not convinced, our future is dark. For this reason, I am trying to go to school with various gifts for the students. It will continue.

She further said that it is not possible to ensure good education without ensuring the health of the students themselves. Pre-elementary students are given gifts of nail cutters, toothpaste and toothbrush. They will grow from a small chain through it. Besides, I give school bags, dresses, ledges, pen and color pencils as prizes to the first, second and third students in each class. In addition, diaries were given to all students from first grade to fifth grade.

UNO Ruma said, “I am doing these things out of responsibility and love.” However, this is not my only job. I want everyone in Sunamganj to work for the development of education. If any help is needed, I will do it.
