UNO Wahida Khanam’s successful surgery completed.Ghoraghat Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Wahida Khanam of Dinajpur, who was injured in the attack, has undergone surgery.
Her surgery was completed at 11:05 pm on Thursday.
Her damaged head was operated on for two hours at the capital’s Neuroscience Hospital.
The director of the hospital, Deen Mohammad, said UNO Wahida Khanam of Ghoraghat in Dinajpur, who was injured in the attack, had undergone successful surgery. Doctors said she was safe now.
Waheeda Khanam was brought to Dhaka by air ambulance from Rangpur Cantonment at 1:00 pm on Thursday (September 03).
UNO Wahida Khanam and her father Omar Ali were seriously injured in a terrorist attack at a government residence at Ghoraghat in Dinajpur on Wednesday night (September 02).
