Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, “If you go abroad , you have to go through training. Anyone Can not go abroad without training. Action will be taken against those involving agencies who harass outbound people in the country. ”
The Prime Minister said, “Do not send unnecessary workers abroad just by looking at the money. Strict action will be taken against the responsible recruiting agency if migrant workers including women workers, are being tortured abroad. Some people fall into brokers and sell everything and move abroad. Even those abroad, we will request that country to take action against them. ‘
Sheikh Hasina also said, “After coming to the Awami League government, various measures have been taken to reduce the poverty rate in the country. After the Awami League came to power, the poverty rate in the country was 41%. Now we have been able to bring it down to 20%. In this fiscal, the per capita income of the people was 543 dollars. And now the income of the people stands at about 2000 dollars .
She added, “Many people wants to go abroad without training . But from now on, you cannot go without training. Training is mandatory. That is why I would tell the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare, ‘They should go abroad with proper training’.
