9 more died in Corona: 309 newly infected.In the last 24 hours, 9 more people have died due to coronavirus in the country. 5 of them are women and 4 are men. The death toll rose to 140.

At the same time, 309 people were newly infected. A total of four thousand 989 people were affected.

Additional Director General (Administration) of the Department of Health, Prof. Dr.Nasima Sultana presented this information at the regular news briefing of the Department of Health on Saturday, April 25 at noon.

According to the bulletin, 3,422 samples were collected in the last 24 hours to detect coronavirus. Of these, three thousand 3,337 samples were tested. In all, 43,113 samples have been tested. Coronavirus has been detected in the bodies of 309 more people in the newly tested samples. As a result, the total number of infected people in Corona stands at four thousand and 998 people. Nine more died including five women and four men, three from Dhaka and six from outside Dhaka. The death toll stood at 140 people.

The bulletin urges everyone to stay at home and follow the advice of the Department of Health and the World Health Organization to avoid the risk of coronavirus infection.

The booklet recommends reading books, gardening and physical exercise to maintain good mental health. It is also recommended to take more liquid food including water during Iftar.

The coronavirus, which spread from Wuhan, China in late December, is now wreaking havoc around the world. Although China has managed the situation a bit, other parts of the world, including Europe, America and Asia, now suffering severely. The virus has infected more than 2.8 million people worldwide. The death toll is about over two lakhs.
