The name of late Mihir Lal Dutta,the language soldier and warlord freedom fighter, has also been included in the list of Razakars published by the Ministry of Liberation War on Sunday.
The list of freedom fighters Mihir Lal Dutt is mentioned in the list of page 22 in the list of Barisal Division. His father’s name is Jitendra Dutta and the resident of Agarpur Road is mentioned there.
Meanwhile,Shuovabrata Dutta,the son of Mihir Lal Dutta,expressed his anger over the issue of his father’s name coming in the list of ‘Razakars’.
He said, “My father is a language soldier and a freedom fighter.His Gazette Number is 289 21/05/2005 and the Liberation War Number is 0601011060. Apart from this, the temporary certificate issued by the ministry Number is ম28616. I do not understand how his name came up in the list of ‘razakars’.Shuovabrata Dutta demanded punishment for those whose aer involved in this Blunder
It is reported that Mihir Lal Dutta was born in November 11, 1935. Father Advocate Jitendra Lal Dutta,mother Shobha Rani Dutta.He completed his MA in Bangla, MA (MA), MA, LLB in Education.He died on January 20,2007 while undergoing treatment.
Journalist Mihir Lal Dutta is a poet,Dramatist,Songwriter,Short story writer and also a linguist. Mihir Lal Dutta was injured in the abdomen during the 1971 Liberation War.His father Jitendra Lal Dutta and his brother Shubir Dutta were martyred in the liberation war.
