Bangladesh’s first ever clinical T20 win against NZ

Bangladesh also used the advantage of slow wickets against New Zealand. The start of the Kiwis in front of the host bowlers is like a nightmare. The visitors lost their four wickets only for 9 runs. New Zealand could not go far with the push to lose wickets quickly. Tom Latham’s team managed to give Bangladesh a target of 61 runs in the batting disaster.

New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first and scored only 60 runs in 16.5 overs. Latham scored the highest 18 runs for the team.

This is the lowest score in the history of New Zealand in the International Twenty20. The Kiwis were all out for 60 runs for the first time in 2014 against Sri Lanka. This time they got the shame of the lowest run.

Mahedi Hasan, who brought success to Bangladesh in the beginning with the ball, gave 15 runs with one wicket. Besides, Mustafiz took maximum 3 wickets. Shakib Al Hasan, Nasum and Saifuddin took two wickets each.

New Zealand won the toss and elected to field. Earlier, New Zealand could not take advantage of the opportunity to bat. The Kiwis lost wickets in the first over.

New Zealand lost 4 wickets for 9 runs. Captain Tom Latham tried to deal with the danger with Henry Nicholls. The two survived for some time.
