‘The friendship between Bangladesh and India is very strong and the relationship will be stronger in the future’, said Bangladesh Army Chief General Aziz Ahmed.
He expressed this optimism at a conference held at the Helmet Hall in Dhaka Cantonment on Tuesday. December 7.
“Bangladesh will always remember Russia’s role during the Liberation War,” he added.
Earlier today, 26 warriors of the Indian Armed Forces who participated in the War of Liberation and 5 Russian naval who helped remove the mines in the Karnaphuli Channel after independence also shows their respect at ‘Shikha Anirban’.
