7 more people died in Chandpur Corona unit. Seven more died while undergoing treatment at the Corona unit of Chandpur General Hospital. Of these, one died in Corona and six died with symptoms.
Saturday (August 14) hospital corona focal person said. Md. Sujauddaula Rubel confirmed the matter.
The deceased has been identified as Yarun Nesha, 80, of Uttar Tarabunia village in Sakhipur upazila of Shariatpur district. On the other hand, Monowara Begum (70), Jasmine (40), Abdur Rahim (60), Lovely Akhter (38), Ashura (60) and Joynal Abedin (70) died with symptoms.
According to the Chandpur Civil Surgeon’s Office, 216 people have died of corona in Chandpur till Friday. Corona of 76 more new people has also been identified in the district.
