In Chandpur Corona detection increased 2139: Corona free 1754.The corona of 9 more people was identified in Chandpur on Tuesday. Among them 4 are from Chandpur Sadar, 1 from Haimchar, 1 from Matlab South, 1 from Faridganj and 2 from Shahrasti. On the same day, 13 more people were declared free and healthy from Corona.
Of these, 6 are from Chandpur Sadar, 4 from Haimchar and 3 from Matlab North.
With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district increased to 2139 people. The death toll is 76. This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office. According to sources, a total of 98 reports came from MA Wadud RT-PCR Lab of Chandpur on Tuesday (September 01). 9 of these reports are not positive. The remaining 89 reports are negative.
At present, the upazila-wise statistics of 2139 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 659 in Chandpur Sadar, 245 in Faridganj, 227 in Matlab South, 207 in Shahrasti, 194 in Hajiganj, 187 in Matlab North, 140 in Haimchar and 80 in Kachu.
The upazila-wise statistics of 6 deaths in the district are as follows: 21 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 11 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
Dr. Civil Surgeon Sakhawat Ullah added that the total number of samples collected till Tuesday was 9054. There are 8957 reports. He added that out of 2139 affected people in the district, 1754 have already recovered. 309 people are under treatment.
So far, 862 patients have been admitted in isolation. Of these, 842 have already received clearance. At present the number of patients in isolation is 20. Besides, the total number of people in the home quarantine in the district is 11,817. Of these, 10,291 people got clearance. At present there are 1526 people in the home quarantine.
