According to the Chandpur Civil Surgeon’s Office on Saturday, the new victims include 63 from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 23 from Hajiganj, 8 from Faridganj, 32 from Matlab North, 20 from Matlab South, 21 from Haimchar, 12 from Kachua and 20 from Shahrasti.
On the same day, 105 people were declared corona-free. Among them 55 are from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 23 from Faridganj, 13 from Hajiganj, 10 from Matlab South, 1 from Matlab North, 2 from Shahrasti and 1 from Haimchar.
The number of people infected with corona in the district has increased to 12,037 with new cases. The death toll has risen to 193. So far 7664 people have been declared healthy. At present the number of patients undergoing treatment is 4180. Of these, 105 are hospitalized. The rest are in home isolation.
