9 players of Dhaka League infected by corona

The Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPL) will held at the end of a three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. That is why Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is preparing the schedule. As part of that, the corona test of the 269 people involved in the tournament took place on Wednesday, May 26. The corona reports of 7 cricketers and 2 officials have come positive.

According to a BCB source, the corona of everyone involved in DPDL is being tested. Yesterday was the first test. The presence of Covid-19 was found in the bodies of 7 cricketers and 2 officials.

Cricketers infected by corona are- Nahidul Islam (Prime Bank), Amit Majumder (Prime Bank), Monir Hossain (Prime Bank), Pinak Ghosh (Legends of Rupganj), Rezaur Rahman Raju (Prime Doleshwar), Shaheen Alam (Abahani Limited) and Naeem Islam have reported positive. Naeem Islam Junior (Brothers Union).

Among the officials, Corona infected are- Taukir Khan (Prime Doleshwar) and Abu Reza Mohammad Shariful Hasan (Brothers Union).
