37 dies in last 24 hours in the country due to corona: 3187 people newly identified as infected.Coronavirus has killed 37 people in the country in the last 24 hours. A total of 1,049 people died in the country. The Department of Health gave such information in an online briefing on the Covid-19 epidemic on Thursday afternoon, June 11.
Additional Director General of the Department (Administration) Prof. Nasima Sultana said that out of those who have been tested in the last one day 3,187 have tested positive for corona. The detection rate is 20.21 percent.
In all 78,052 corona patient have been identified in the country.
She said 848 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. So far 16 thousand and 747 people have recovered. Recognized rate of recovery is 21.46 percent.
The death toll was 1.34 percent, he said, adding that 30 men and seven women were among those killed.
Analyzing the age of the dead, the doctor said that considering the age, two people aged 31 to 40, four people aged 41 to 50, eight people aged 51 to 60, 22 people aged 61 to 70 and one aged 71 to 80.
“And 28 people died at the hospital and 9 at home.”
Nasima Sultana said the dead included 20 from Dhaka division, seven from Chittagong division, four from Rajshahi division, three from Sylhet division, two in Barisal and one in Rangpur division.
