This time the eleventh class admission application is online only.The Ministry of Education has finalized the admission policy for Class XII in the academic year 2020-21. The admission application will start from May 10.And it will end on June 25. This time only the admission application will be accepted online.
The policy was finalized at a meeting held at the Ministry of Education on Thursday. The meeting was chaired by Education Minister Dipu Moni.
Dhaka Education Board College Inspector Md. Haroon-UR-Rashid said, “No more SMS can be applied this time. Admission-seeking students can apply online for a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 colleges or equivalent courses. Considering the reduction of the cost of students, the harassment of the deceased and sometimes the delay in receiving the message, it was decided to stop applying for SMS.”
There is no quota other than the quota of 5 percent freedom fighters. However, special arrangements have been made for children with disabilities, BKSP students, students who have outstanding performances in sports and cultural activities and expatriates.
However, they have to apply directly to the education board in a traditional (manually) manner to get this benefit. Their admission will be arranged with minimum qualification for admission to the college and subject to scrutiny of other applicants.
Consequently, this admission policy was finalized before the results of SSC and equivalent examination were published.
