Bangladesh national football team is on the way to Qatar to play World Cup qualifiers. Bangladesh will take on Qatar in the second round match of the preliminary round of the 2022 World Cup and 2023 Asian Cup on December 4. The national football team left for Qatar on Thursday, November 19 at 10:30 am for this purpose.
Earlier, the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) announced the 27-member preliminary squad for the match.
But in the meantime bad news has to be heard. Defender Monjurur Rahman has been infected with the corona virus and striker Nabib Newaz has been ruled out of the match due to a knee injury.
Also, before the second match against Nepal, coach Jamie Day, who was positive in Corona, could not go.
