The girl who died in Chandpur is corona positive.Corona of the teenager who died in Chandpur is positive.A 14-year-old girl who died in the isolation unit of the 250-bed Government General Hospital in Chandpur with fever, cold, cough and shortness of breath was infected with coronavirus. Chandpur Civil Surgeon Mohammad Sakhawat Ullah said that her corona test report was ‘positive’ on Saturday morning.
The civil surgeon said the girl from Faridganj died last Thursday while undergoing treatment in isolation. She was rushed to Chandpur Sadar Hospital at around 12:30 pm on Wednesday. She was then admitted in isolation. Her corona was examined and found to be infected with corona.
On the same day, an 75-year-old woman from Nayarhat area of Faridganj upazila died in the isolation ward of Sadar Hospital. The civil surgeon said the sample test did not show a corona infection in his body.
According to the Civil Surgeon’s Office, so far 239 corona examinations have been conducted in Chandpur. The corona of 14 of them was identified. 18 sample test reports have not been received yet.
