Holidays are on the rise: New directions are coming.Common leave is increasing in the country under conditions of coronavirus (Covid-19) infection. A notification will be issued from the Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday, 22nd April extending the leave subject to various new instructions.

State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain confirmed the information on Tuesday (April 21th) afternoon. To prevent corona infection, the country is going on a 31-day holiday from March 26 to April 25.But the Corona situation has not improved. The health department has declared the country vulnerable to coronavirus infection.

Meanwhile, the National Committee for Coronavirus Prevention, headed by the Health Minister, has recommended an extension of seven more days. However, officials in the cabinet department and the public administration ministry are not sure how long the holiday will last. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will decide on this.

Asked about the extension of leave, Minister of State for Public Administration said, ‘There will be a decision tomorrow (Wednesday) to extend the vacation.The holiday will be extended. There will be many instructions, there will be many differences in the instructions. There will be details.’

Asked about the new directive, the Minister said, “It will be known only if the notification is issued.” How long will the leave be extended?

Meanwhile, all educational institutions in the country have been shut down for a long time to prevent the transmission of coronavirus infection. The board chairmen made the proposal in a video conference with Education Secretary Mahabub Hossain on Tuesday morning and the chairmen of 11 education boards, controllers of examinations and senior system analysts.

The government first declared a public holiday from March 26 to April 04 due to coronavirus. Later, the holiday was extended till April 25 in three stages.

Last Tuesday (April 21), the Department of Health’s regular health bulletin on coronavirus reported that the coronavirus epidemic had claimed nine more lives in the country in the last 24 hours. As a result, 110 people have died from the virus so far. 434 more people have been identified as suffering from corona. As a result,
from corona the total number of affected people stood at 3,382.
