In Chandpur 6 More People Has Been Identified As Corona Infected

Corona of 6 more people has been identified in Chandpur. Among them 4 are from Haimchar and 2 from Matlab South.

Three of the victims were police. They are – OC of the police station, second officer, an ASI. The other is the muezzin of the mosque in Katakhali area.

Meanwhile, two new victims in Matlab Dakshin Upazila are a bank officer (49) from Narayanpur area and a businessman (45) from Kalakadi village.

As a result, the number of patients affected by corona in the district has increased to 283. The death toll remained unchanged at 23.

According to the Chandpur Civil Surgeon’s Office, 49 reports were received on Tuesday morning. Of these, 6 are positive and 43 are negative.

According to sources, the upazila-wise statistics of 283 people affected by corona in Chandpur district at present are: 137 in Chandpur Sadar, 44 in Faridganj, 22 in Hajiganj, 22 in Matlab South, 19 in Shahrasti, 16 in Kachua, 13 in Matlab North and 10 in Haimchar.

Besides, the upazila-wise statistics of 23 deaths in the district are: 8 in Chandpur Sadar, 4 in Kachua, 4 in Faridganj, 4 in Hajiganj, 2 in Matlab North and 1 in Shahrasti.
