In Chandpur, 116 people were identified as infected in one day. Corona of 116 people has been identified in one day in Chandpur. In the RT-PCR lab, M Wadud found 75 corona positive out of 187 samples and 41 corona positive out of 86 samples in the rapid antigen test. The total number of samples was 273. The detection rate is 42.49%. This set a new record this year in identifying the highest corona in a single day in Chandpur.

Chandpur Civil Surgeon’s Office sources said. Sources said that among the new victims on Saturday, 49 were from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 2 from Matlab South, 1 from Matlab North, 9 from Hajiganj, 10 from Faridganj, 4 from Haimchar, 35 from Shahrashti and 6 from Kachua. On the same day, 30 people were declared healthy.

Among them 18 are from Chandpur Sadar, 1 from Faridganj, 4 from Hajiganj, 1 from Haimchar, 5 from Matlab South and 1 from Shahrasti.

Sources further said that the number of people infected with corona in the district has increased to 6166 including the new ones. The death toll is 130 people. So far 5100 people have been declared healthy. At present 936 people are undergoing treatment. Among the injured, 39 are undergoing treatment in the isolation ward of Chandpur Sadar Hospital. The rest are in home isolation.
