In Chandpur, 4 people died due to corona. Four more people died in the corona isolation ward of Chandpur Government General Hospital. The deaths occurred from noon on Thursday to noon on Friday. One of them was corona positive and the others were suffering from corona symptoms.
On Friday, August 27, the hospital’s focal person for corona. Sujauddaula Rubel said this on Friday.
He said Nazrul Islam, 80, of Raghunathpur village in Bahria area of Chandpur Sadar upazila died of corona. He died at around 8:10 a.m. on Friday. He was admitted to the hospital around 6:15 am. He was afflicted with corona.
Besides, AH Samad Bakaul (70) of Dakshin Dighaldi village in Munsirhat area of south, Fatema Begum (65) of Chirka Chandpur area of Faridganj and Shamsul Haque (70) of Manoharkhadi area of Bishnupur union of Chandpur Sadar died of corona.
