At present, the upazila-wise statistics of 67 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 41 in Chandpur Sadar, 7 in Faridganj, 6 in Matlab North, 5 in Hajiganj, 5 in Matlab South, 3 in Kachua, 2 in Haimchar and 2 in Shahrasti.

Civil Surgeon Dr. Sakhawat Ullah said in a press note that 24 more samples have been sent from Chandpur for the corona test. The total number of samples sent stood at 1,110. In contrast, 958 reports have come. 152 pending reports.

He added that the number of patients admitted in isolation in Chandpur district is 57. Of these, 50 have already received clearance. At present there are 7 patients in isolation. The total number of people in the home quarantine in the district is 3663. Of these, 3599 got clearance. There are currently 64 people in the home quarantine.
