Identification of 12 out of 105 samples: Corona free 50.The corona of 12 more people was identified in Chandpur on Thursday. Of these, 4 are from Chandpur Sadar, 2 from Matlab North and 6 from Matlab South.
On the same day, 50 people were declared tax-free and healthy. Of them, 8 from Chandpur Sadar, 1 from Faridganj, 2 from Kachua, 2 from Matlab South, 2 from Hajiganj, 4 from Shahrashti and 31 from Haimchar have recovered.
With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district increased to 1974. The death toll is 75. This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office.
According to sources, a total of 105 reports came from Chandpur-based Bahabir MA Wadud RT-PCR Lab and ICDDRB on Thursday (August 13). Of these, 12 reports are not positive. The remaining 93 reports are not negative.
At present, the upazila-wise statistics of 1964 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 778 in Chandpur Sadar, 222 in Faridganj, 210 in Matlab South, 198 in Shahrasti, 187 in Hajiganj, 161 in Matlab North, 129 in Haimchar and 79 in Kachu.
The upazila-wise statistics of 75 deaths in the district are: 21 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 10 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
Dr. Civil Surgeon. Sakhawat Ullah added that the total number of samples collected till Thursday was 7695. There were 7578 reports. He added that out of 1964 people affected in the district, 1464 have already recovered. 425 people are under treatment.
So far 725 patients have been admitted in isolation. Of these, 686 have already received clearance. At present the number of patients in isolation is 39. Besides, the total number of persons in Home Quarantine in the district is 11,097. Of these, 9131 people got clearance. There are currently 1966 people in the home quarantine.
