Palestine Oppose UAE-Israel Deal

Palestine oppose UAE-Israel deal.Palestine has opposed a historic peace deal signed by the United Arab Emirates to normalize relations with Israel. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, meanwhile, has spoken out against the deal, urging the country’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates to return home.

A landmark peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates was signed on Thursday (August 13th) under the mediation of US President Donald Trump. The deal would end Israeli occupation of the occupied West Bank.

In a joint statement, US President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed hope that the historic agreement would bring peace to the Middle East. This will show a new direction which will open the door to great possibilities in this region.

Nabil Abu Rudineh, a spokesman for Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, said a tripartite agreement between the United Arab Emirates, Israel and the United States had “surprised” him. But other Arab countries have welcomed the move.

The deal comes after talks between Trump, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed of Abu Dhabi and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Trump wrote on Twitter on this issue, today is a huge success! Our two great friends Israel and the United Arab Emirates have signed a historic peace agreement.

Sheikh Mohammed said the agreement would end Israeliization of Palestinian territory.

Netanyahu said it was a historic day and that the agreement would bring peace to Israel with the United Arab Emirates.

Netanyahu said in a televised speech that it was an incomparably exciting moment. Representatives from the UAE and Israel will meet next week to sign agreements on investment, tourism, direct flights, security and telecommunications. They will also discuss setting up an embassy.

This is the third agreement between Israel and the Arabs since Israel declared independence in 1948. Egypt and Jordan signed the agreement in 1979 and 1994 respectively.
