At least 20 people have been died after a train collided with a passenger bus in Pakistan.There have been horrific road accidents in Pakistan. At least 20 people were died and eight injured. The accident took place at a rail crossing in Sheikhpura area of Punjab province on Friday afternoon.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has expressed his condolences over the incident. He said the government would take all the responsibility for the treatment of the injured.
According to local media reports, the bus was returning from Nankana Sahib with 25 to 30 Sikh pilgrims.
The killer Shah Hussain Express train was going from Lahore to Karachi. The accident took place near Farooqabad railway station in Sheikhpura, Punjab.
The bus was crossing the railway crossing as there were no obstacles. The train hit the bus near the crossing. It killed 20 people. Eight more people are fighting with death in the hospital after being seriously injured.
Meanwhile, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and Railway Minister Sheikh Rashid are investigating the incident. A spokesman for the railway ministry said 20 people had been killed in the incident. The Divisional Engineer has been dismissed for negligence.
