No mask, no service

If you do not wear a mask during the coronavirus epidemic, you will not be able to enter government and private offices, you will not be able to get any services. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has instructed that ‘no mask, no service’ means there is no service if he or she do not wear mask.

Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam told after a cabinet meeting chaired by the Prime Minister on Sunday. The Prime Minister from Ganabhaban and the concerned ministers from the Cabinet Division of the Secretariat joined the meeting in a video conference.

The cabinet secretary said, “Strict instructions have been given to all the institutions in this regard as the outbreak of coronavirus may increase in the coming winter.”

Masks must be worn everywhere, in all institutions, market, shopping malls or educational institutions and at social and religious conferences.

He/She who does not wear a mask will not get any service in government and non-government organizations. Government already given instructions to the divisional commissioners.

No one will be able to enter without a mask, no one will get service without a mask.

He said, ‘The Islamic Foundation has been asked to preach, that you must wear a mask to preach after the prayers twice a day. I have talked to the ulema and ulama and they have started it too. We are also focusing on what can be done in this regard. ‘

The cabinet secretary said the cabinet meeting was informed about the steps taken by the ministry of health and family welfare to deal with Covid-19. Ministry of Health has taken initiative to procure vaccines for the prevention of Cavid-19.

He said, “There are ongoing public-private initiatives on where we can get the possible vaccines from.
