‘Mujib Corner’ at Home of Cricket.The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has set up a ‘Mujib Corner’ at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in memory of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. All his unique achievements are written on the illuminated wall on the second floor of the BCB office. The Under-19 World Cup trophy is also being displayed on that wall. Mujib Corner has been set up in the name of Bangabandhu in the highest administration office of cricket in the country.
Last March, on the occasion of the birth centenary of Bangabandhu, a portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the best Bengali and father of the nation for thousands of years, was erected. BCB Media Committee Chairman Jalal Yunus said, ‘It has already been constructed on the occasion of Bangabandhu’s birth centenary. The BCB president visited it on August 15.
