Thunderstorms may occur in 20 parts of the country including Chandpur.Today, there is a risk of storm and rain in at least 20 regions of the country. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1. The Meteorological Department has given this information in the forecast of the inland river port of the country from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm on Sunday, July 12.
The forecast said that Rangpur, Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Madaripur, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Chandpur, Cumilla, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet region over the south / From the south-west, there may be temporary gusts of 45-60 kmph with gusts of wind / rain / thunderstorms. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
On the other hand, the forecast for Dhaka and adjoining areas from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm said that the sky may be partly cloudy to cloudy. There may be light to moderate rain / thunderstorms. The wind may blow from south / south-west at a speed of 8-12 kmph. Daytime temperatures may remain almost unchanged.
