A total of 4,242 people were identified in Chandpur, including 14 new ones. In the last 24 hours, 14 more corona cases have been reported in Chandpur. With this, the number of corona cases in the district has increased to 4,242. After examining the samples of 188 people collected, the reports of 14 people came positive.
So far 117 people have died in Corona in the district. This information was given by Mohammad Sakhawat Ullah, Civil Surgeon.
According to the district health department, 3,669 people have recovered so far. At present 442 people are undergoing treatment. Of these, 9 are in hospital isolation and 433 are in home isolation.
Of the 117 dead, 44 were in Sadar upazila, 16 in Faridganj, 21 in Hajiganj, 9 in Shahrasti, 7 in Kachua, 11 in Matlab North, 6 in Matlab South and 3 in Haimchar.
