Storm-rain forecast: Warning signal at river port.Rainstorms with speeds of 45 to 60 kmph are expected over some parts of the country. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
The Meteorological Department has given this information in the forecast of the inland river port of the country from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday,May 11.
According to the forecast, rain or thunderstorms with a speed of 45 to 60 kmph from the west or north-west over Rangpur, Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka and Sylhet are expected. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
The weather forecast for Dhaka and adjoining areas from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm said that the sky may be partly cloudy. There may be temporary gusts of wind with rain or thunderstorms. The wind may blow from the south or southeast at a speed of 8 to 12 kilometers per hour, which may temporarily reach 40 to 50 kilometers per hour in the form of gusts.Daytime temperatures may rise slightly.
