Experts say that about 10 million people in the country have different types of hepatitis but 90 percent do not know about it. There are very few medical facilities in Bangladesh for those who know.
There are only 100 doctors treating about 50 million liver patients in Bangladesh, most of whom are from Dhaka. As a result, treatment of people suffering from liver disease is very difficult in the whole country.
