PM called for vigilance against the active anti-national forces

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that everyone should be vigilant so that no one can play tricks on the fate of the people of Bangladesh and stop the extraordinary journey of economic development of the country.

“We all have to be vigilant so that no one can play tricks on the fate of the people,” she said.

“Our development progress cannot be allowed to be hampered in any way.”

The Prime Minister said this while addressing the nation on the occasion of the third anniversary of the present government formed after the Eleventh Parliamentary Election on Friday and the inauguration of the present Awami League government for four years.

State-owned Bangladesh Television and Bangladesh Betar broadcast the Prime Minister’s speech simultaneously.

After the landslide victory of her party Awami League in the 2018 national elections, Sheikh Hasina formed the government for the third consecutive term on January 8, 2019.

She said, “Bangladesh is moving forward at a tremendous pace along the development. Anti-Bangladesh forces, anti-independence forces sitting at home and abroad are conspiring to stop this progress.

In her speech, the Prime Minister further said, “They are trying to confuse the people through social media with false-fabricated-fictional information. Trying to mislead our development partners abroad.”
