Arrested with Yaba in Chandpur

2 arrested with Yaba in Chandpur. Chandpur district detective police are arresting two people including 500 pieces of Yaba in the operation.

They were arrested from Chandra Billal fish hatchery on Wednesday, October 6. Earlier, the Drug Enforcement Administration arrested Zaheer Mizi along with 400 pieces of Yaba.

Later, on bail, Zaheer Miaji filed a case against seven people, including Deputy Director of the Narcotics Control Department AKM Didarul Alam, in a Chandpur court on September 21.

The detainees are Md. Zahir Mizi (34), son of Muktar Ahmed Mizi of Chandra Union of Sadar Upazila and Md. Shahadat Gazi (28), son of Manu Mia Gazi.

According to the district detective police, SI Md. Abdus Salam, ASI Mizanur Rahman conducted the operation led by District Detective Police OC Tantu Saha. Drug dealer Md. Md. Zaheer Mizi (34) was arrested along with 500 pieces of Yaba.

District Detective Police OC Tantu Saha said the detainees were sent to jail through the court on Thursday.

Earlier, after the arrested of Zaheer Miaji with Yaba by the Department of Narcotics Control, locals held a human chain and a press conference was held on behalf of his family.
