A young man named Kamrul Hasan Sabuj (24) was killed in a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a truck at Kachua in Chandpur. The accident took place at Dumuria Nilampara area of Hajiganj-Gauripur-Kachua road on Monday, january 25 in the evening. Two more people were injured.
Arif Hossain (25) and Ibrahim Hossain (19) were injured in the accident.
According to the concerned, the injured Ibrahim Hossain along with his two friends Kamrul and Arif Hossain went to his grandfather’s house in Tulatali village of Kachua on a motorcycle. After Janaza, on the way, they collided head-on with a freight truck heading to Gauripur in Nilampara area.
Locals rescued them in critical condition and took them to Kachua Upazila Health Complex, where on-duty doctor Kamrul Islam Sabuj was declared dead. The other two seriously injured riders Arif Hossain and Ibrahim have been sent to Dhaka for advanced treatment after initial treatment.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Kachua Police Station Mohammad Mohiuddin confirmed the matter.
