Corona of 26 more people have been identified in Chandpur. A total of 118 reports came from MA Wadud RT-PCR Lab, a linguist in Chandpur, on Monday (August 17). Of these, 26 reports were not positive. The remaining 92 reports are negative.
Among them 4 are from Chandpur Sadar, 2 from Haimchar, 6 from Matlab North, 5 from Matlab South, 6 from Faridganj, 2 from Hajiganj and 1 from Kachua.
With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district increased to 2033 people. The death toll is 75. This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office.
According to the sources, the current upazila-based statistics of 2033 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 805 in Chandpur Sadar, 239 in Faridganj, 217 in Matlab South, 199 in Shahrasti, 189 in Hajiganj, 173 in Matlab North, 131 in Haimchar and 80 in Kachua.
The upazila-wise statistics of 75 deaths in the district are as follows: 21 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 10 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
