Chandpur Times Top Newspaper in Chandpur
Corona of 9 more people has been identified in Chandpur today. Among them 8 are from Chandpur Sadar and 1 from Hajiganj.
With this, the number of victims of corona in the district increased to 1934 people. The death toll is 75. This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office.
Sources said that on Monday (August 10), 59 reports came from Chandpur-based MA Wadud RT-PCR Lab. 9 of these reports are not positive. The remaining 50 reports are negative.
At present, the upazila-wise statistics of 1934 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 762 in Chandpur Sadar, 217 in Faridganj, 204 in Matlab South, 196 in Shahrasti, 187 in Hajiganj, 157 in Matlab North, 129 in Haimchar and 79 in Kachua.
The upazila-wise statistics of 75 deaths in the district are as follows: 21 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 10 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
