17 people identified as corona infected in the district: 600 infected in Chandpur Sadar.In Chandpur, 17 more corona positive reports have been received today. Among them 10 are from Chandpur Sadar, 6 from Faridganj and 1 from Haimchar.
With this, the number of victims of corona in the district has increased to 1594 people. The death toll is 71. This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office.
According to sources, 31 reports came on Friday morning, July 24. Of these, 17 reports are not positive. The remaining 14 reports are negative.
The current upazila-wise statistics of 1594 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 606 in Chandpur Sadar, 183 in Faridganj, 173 in Matlab South, 161 in Shahrasti, 153 in Hajiganj, 131 in Matlab North, 117 in Haimchar and 70 in Kachu.
The upazila-wise statistics of 71 deaths in the district are as follows: 20 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 9 in Faridganj, 9 in Matlab North, 6 in Kachua, 6 in Shahrasti, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
