Chandpur District Police said, ‘From August to November this year, a total of 381 cases were registered under the Drug Control Act . Also, 501 accused have been arrested in anti-drug operations. During the raid, 17,128 pieces of ‘Yaba’, 24 kg of 181 grams marijuana, 1029 bottles of Phensidyl and 1 liter of wine were recovered. The estimated value of 99,56000. Also, 2 LG and numerous domestic weapons were recovered in the two cases.
During the 3 month operation total of 3281 convicted and warrant defendants were arrested in the drug case.
